Writer's picture: Elena MarkinElena Markin

Aromatherapy is an ancient powerful practice that uses the therapeutic properties of essential oils to promote holistic health and overall wellbeing. These natural plant extracts offer many benefits. Let’s explore some of the most powerful essential oils and how to use them for natural healing and our overall wellbeing.

Heat vs. Ultrasonic Essential Oil Diffusers

It is important to mention that the only two aromatherapy essential oils that can directly be applied to the skin are lavender and tea tree oil. The rest of the essential oils have to be diffused or mixed. For best results, I highly recommend ultrasonic cool mist diffusers, as opposed to heat diffusers. Heating essential oils diminishes their therapeutic effects. Ultrasonic cool mist diffusers are safer for your respiratory system, and also safe to use around children.
